What's the Same?
It seems there is some local election going on somewhere every week in our country. It makes sense that registering voters should be an on-going project, even now. That's the key.
However, the importance of November 2, 2010 is shared by every American.
How many days are there till the next truly national election day?

thing that always stays the same is the need to keep MyHundred.com online.

On a lighter note..., MyHundred.com, aka the Hundred Network,
has even adopted its own icon from colonial America. It was Ben
Franklin's idea. Can you guess? Click here.

What's the Plan?
This is the short-term, non-partisan action agenda.
The first project is to get you and your regiment of
a Hundred
to get rid of electronic voting machines. They are
a frightening threat to our democracy. Much more will
follow. Come back often. Go ahead and make this your
home page.
A second priority is to ask you to register a hundred
unregistered voters. Most citizens don't register. Most
citizens don't vote. What kind of a democracy is that?
So..., let's say a hundred citizens, your Hundred, register
a hundred voters. Voila! That's 10,000 new voters who can
swing an election your way.
What's The Fair Deal?
Who doesn't want a Fair Deal?
The Fair Deal is an expanding list of concrete proposals for action.
Most are action items favored by the majority of
Americans. Yet, years go by, and the political leadership does
not give us what we the people want. You and your Hundred can fix that.
Please focus on this: only
a law-making body can change a law. A county manager can't do it. A president
can't do it. It requires the election of a citizen, a candidate, to a legislative body. For example, your county council, your state legislature, and our national Congress.
What's Coming?
The long-term plan is to flesh out The Fair Deal. Books have been written, pro and con, on each of the
proposals. MyHundred.com will add more explanations
over the next year. However, you already know what you believe
in. For you, further explanations are hardly necessary except
to develop facts and talking points to help you.
You should pick only one
issue at a time. You can make that a reality.
You can make a dramatic difference.
It's a slam dunk!
